Finding the right conditioner bar can be tricky but this one works for me- and it smells of lemon sherberts! It lasts up to 80 washes, depending on hair length, and there's no transition period when you switch from more commerical bottled conditioners which can strup your hair of its natural oils.
It's designed to boost the appearance and feel of your hair whilst also reducing your plastic usage. This bar is universal, meaning it suitable for all hair types and only one product is needed for the whole family.
We like it because it's:
- plasic free
- cruelty-free (and there are no animal ingredients used in our workshop)
- made from sustainably sourced ingredients (contains an ingredient that is partially palm derived which is sustainably certified)
- it works!
There's also a tin you can purchase in the shop in which you can store it, once dried.
Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Avena Sativa Kernel Extract (Oat Silk), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil , Tocopherol, Cymbopogon Flexuosus (Lemongrass) Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Citral, Limonene, Citronellol, Eugenol, Linalool, Geraniol
Lemon Solid Conditioner Bar - The Natural Spa
Takes a little getting used to - If this is your first experience of using a conditioner bar then it's going to feel a little different, after all its a little more hands on than squeezing the bottle and applying.
It's not difficult though and it's much easier to apply where you want it, e.g less on the scalp and more where you get tangles. It glides on nicely and your hair will feel easier to get through even in the shower.
Run bar over your hair section by section, and leave to be absorbed, then rinse thoroughly. Repeat where necessary. A little goes a long way.
Make sure to dry it out in between uses and store away from water to get the best results. There are some tins available which are large enough to fit this bar and an additional item like a shmpoo or shower block too.
